Facial Revitalisation Acupuncture, also known as "cosmetic acupuncture", is a safe, virtually painless, non-surgical way of creating a radiant complexion and reducing signs of the ageing process.

Acupuncture treatment when used for revitalising the face will, for example:
    • increase the production of collagen
    • make skin look firmer and younger
    • diminish the appearance of deep wrinkles
    • eliminate fine lines
    • improve facial muscle tone
    • reduce the appearance of a double chin
    • lessen the appearance of bags under the eyes, reduce drooping eyelids by improving fluid metabolism.

Facial revitalisation acupuncture is a holistic approach to health therefore other acupuncture points on the body may be selected for your general health and well-being, working with your underlying imbalances. Subsequently as a result of treatment, you may notice other health benefits such as better sleep, fewer headaches, improved digestion, more energy, less muscle tension, reduced stress levels to name a few.

Facial revitalisation acupuncture is natural and safe way to look younger

Results should be noticeable after just a few treatments. However it is recommended to have a full course of treatment consisting of 10-15 treatment sessions.

In the Sung Dynasty (960-1270AD), facial acupuncture was used on the empress and the emperor’s concubines. A recent report in the International Journal of Clinical Acupuncture researched the effects of Facial Acupuncture on 300 cases. Of these cases 90% had marked effects over one course of treatment, including: improvement of the elasticity of facial muscles; leveling of wrinkles; and overall rejuvenation.
Therapies #02Cognitive Behavioural Therapy - CBT
CBT can help you to change the way you think ("Cognitive") and what you do (“Behaviour”).

CBT is a flexible approach to change our negative ways of thinking, feeling and behaving.
We are not disturbed by the events in life that happen to us, but by the views that we hold about those events. Our distorted and often unrealistic thoughts produce unhealthy negative emotions e.g. anger, anxiety, guilt etc. In many situations these emotions are not conscious and subsequently we act out unhealthy behavioural patterns e.g. smoking, comfort or excessive eating, drinking, nail biting etc.

Self help strategies, self help assignments, coping skills and uncovering and changing your own individual set of beliefs are all vital parts of the therapy.

CBT acknowledges the past but teaches people how to overcome the past by focusing on the present. Learning to overcome your issues and how to successfully implement healthy and realistic alternatives to current problematic psychological patterns can not only change the way you feel but will also help you towards your goals.

    Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy - CBH
Cognitive Behavioral Hypnotherapy (CBH) is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) combined with visualisation and hypnosis techniques.

In an alert trance state the knowledge and understanding obtained during the therapy are reintegrated and reinforced in both the conscious and unconscious mind. The seeds that are sown in he subconscious will help the process of change, this way of working is not only very rewarding but it can also reveal real insight. Research has shown that this eclectic psychological therapy is often more effective than CBT alone.

CBH is a goal centered and usually short term therapy.
    Therapies #03Hypnotherapy
Hypnosis is a natural state. Everybody enters the hypnotic state in everyday life, when reading a book, watching TV, listening to music. Ever experienced driving and reaching your destination but
you don't remember the journey. This is what happens when the subconsious of your mind takes control, while your conscious mind is busy thinking of something else

During a Hypnotherapy session the state of Hypnosis is induced by the Hypnotherapist with the aid of soothing music and a calm, relaxing voice. People often have a sense of deep calmness and relaxation.
The conscious mind can then be bypassed, allowing access to the subconscious mind. This allows positive changes to be made.

Antoinett teaches all her clients self hypnosis, so that they can continue to benefit when at home.

Nobody can ever be hypnotised against their will and even when hypnotised, people still remain in complete control.
    Therapies #04Nutrition
Natural nutrition's purpose is to find the story of your condition today. Serious or chronic conditions do not arrive overnight, there always is a progression of the illness. Our lives are nowadays so hectic, that we often don't pay attention to the signals our body is sending us. The foods we eat are often convenience foods either to watch calories or to eat on the go. In the process we miss out on vital nutrients, fats and minerals that our body needs to maintain health. Living in the UK means that we all live in a damp environment and for many this can be challenging for the body, especially when we eat cold and damp foods. Understanding what the different food dynamics do to your body is a journey that changes our lives forever. Each person has a different story and therefore a different healing process.

To get the biochemistry of the body properly working again, depending on your situation it may involve a large amount of detoxification and therefore this approach is not for the faint-hearted. Working with urine rubs, caster oil packs, flax seed oil, lecithin, Epsom salt baths and taking enema's is not every bodies cup of tea, however it is extremely effective for those who need some technical help to get their bodies back on track.
    Therapies #05Tui Na massage
Tui na is one of the four main branches of traditional Chinese medicine, the others being acupuncture, Qi Gong, and Chinese herbal medicine. It is based on the Chinese medical principle that pain and illness are symptoms of a blockage or imbalance of Qi, the body’s vital energy. Tui na therapists work to encourage the free-flow of Qi and balance yin and yang within the body.

Tui na is not new-age. Although it is a relatively recent introduction to the UK,
Tui na has been practiced and studied for thousands of years. In China, many doctors specialise in Tui na and hospitals have dedicated Tui na departments.

Tui na is both a physical therapy and a form of energetic medicine.
Depending on the condition being treated and the practitioner’s background, the style of a Tui na treatment can vary from a vigorous deep-tissue style massage, to a subtle energetic treatment not unlike Reiki or Cranio-sacral therapy.

Tui na is more than just massage. Tui na practitioners are skilled at both manipulating joints and muscles to relieve musculoskeletal pain and stiffness like arthritis and sciatica and directing the flow of Qi within the body to treat deeper seated conditions like depression and insomnia. It effectively relieves many common health conditions and can be combined with acupuncture.

Tui na is effective at relieving a wide range of common health problems. It is a branch of Chinese medicine, which treats the underlying causes of pain and illness as well as the symptoms.
Because Tui na massage can be very relaxing, it is particularly useful for stress related conditions.
Like other forms of massage it can be used preventatively, to encourage the movement of Qi (vital energy) and Blood.

Poor digestion, colic, poor appetite, constipation, diarrhoea
    Therapies #06Hot Stone Massage
Hot Stone Massage is one of the most relaxing massages to de-stress and it is therefore widely used as a luxury massage in Spa's and beauty centers. The Basalt stones (molten lava stone)have a natural ability to draw toxins out of the body and are therefore great body detoxifiers.

Antoinett works at a deep cleansing level with the stones, drawing unprocessed emotions, negativity and toxins to the surface to be released. It is not uncommon for you to feel very relaxed or even tired after a treatment which occasionally may be followed by a "healing crisis" lasting anything from 1 to 3 days as the body processes the toxins out of the body. She therefore recommends that before choosing this type of treatment you make sure that you can rest and take it easy after treatment. The duration of the treatment is 1.5 hours.
Therapies #07 Regression Therapy or Past Life Regression Therapy

Regression Therapy is a therapeutic process where you will re-visit relevant memories from the past to help you resolve or clarify current issues.

The memories that lay instilled in our unconscious mind are recalled as either accurate memories of events, distorted memories of events or forgotten memories. Most of us have situations which were too painful or traumatic to deal with at the time they happened. Subsequently the unconscious mind repressed these memories until a time that we are able and ready to work with these.

Regression Therapy is a safe and an effective therapeutic process which helps re-integrate any parts of us that may have become fragmented in the process, allowing us to feel whole again.

The difference between Regression Therapy and Past Life Regression
Past Life Regression takes you back to episodes of your life which are beyond this human life, to either in between lives, experiences in the womb or to a past life or a series of past lives. These past lives may be experienced on earth, on other planets or in other dimensions. Depending on the reason why you are taken back, you may find yourself to be in the human form, in animal form, in the form of pure energy (formless) or other types of life form e.g. stone, plants or other types of beings.

One of the most important things about Past Life Regression is that the therapist will take you through the death experience to a safe place where you reflect on each specific past life. The purpose of this is to find out what you were meant to learn that life and what you actually did or did not learn. This can sometimes give you clues as to what your soul wants to learn this time around.

In Regression Therapy you will regress to relevant episodes of this life or it is not uncommon to regress to the time of your conception or to a time when you were in your mother's womb.

    The duration of a treatment
Antoinett studied with Dolores Canon and works with a one-off session of 3 hours, which allows you and your subconscious to find the stories and roots of your questions and issues.
The sessions are recorded on MP3 for you to take home, so that you can reflect on the material, allowing you to make a more informed choices after having gained insight.
    Therapies #08Reflexology
The ancient art of Reflexology is based on the principles that reflex zones in the hand and feet correspond to different parts, organs and glands in the body. Tiny deposits and imbalances in the feet can be detected, and by working on these points, blockages can be released and restore the free flow of energy to the whole body. Tensions are eased, and circulation and elimination is improved, boosting the bodies natural ability to heal itself.

Most of us love having our feet massaged as it feels good- especially after a hard day of work.
    Therapies #09Crystal Healing
Crystal Healing or Gem and mineral therapy have played a major role in Classical Chinese Medicine, with descriptions of their properties outlined in major Chinese Materia Medica's (Ben Cao) dating back to the 5th and 6th century. In these texts, stones are considered living, evolving entities, which were used for stubborn illnesses. Unfortunately a lot of this knowledge was stripped away over the centuries.

The density, solidity and mineral content of gems and stones represent greater permanence in healing, specifically working with more difficult diseases e.g. autoimmune disorders, ME and cancer etc. However Gems and stones will also treat all kinds of other conditions e.g. headaches, stress, trauma/PTSD etc. Stones are also used as great guides on our journey of change and self development.

As a healer Antoinett has always been drawn to stones and she has a great passion working with them. Her approach has always been very intuitive, however nowadays she also combines it with the principles of Classical Chinese Medicine, drawing from her studies with Master Jeffrey C. Yuen.

Depending on your condition she will:
  • Integrate the gem and stones in an energy healing session
  • Work with the stones and deep tissue massage
  • Get you to drink stone elixirs
  • Use stone powders on acupressure points
  • Get you to wear a specific stone
  • Or a mixture of any of the above.
